I chose this type of journalistic point of view because although there may be a high industry in america, there is still a large amount of homeless people still around. I edited to the picture to have a dark eerie look to it to show the dirtiness of the floors and of the people for not having showered for a long time. I used the rule of thirds to separate the 3 objects being the sleeping bum, the teenager, and the bum's personal belongings. People don't pay much attention to the topic of homelessness when in reality, it takes up a lot of our society. I chose to do this picture because i want America to know that we do not live in a perfect society and that there is always room for improvement. If we can't control our own nation, why are we at war to try to control another.
