Hi Ms Miles! The pictures wouldn't load on my TUMBLR so I was frantically trying to find a way for you to look at my portfolio. However I emailed it to you and i sent you the pictures.
The kind of pictures I was going for was for an eerie, scary look. My photographer was Loretta Lux and i feel that a lot of her pictures look very creepy. i was hoping to get the same kind of emotions through my pictures. i also tried to replicate her style by overexposing the pictures and saturating the image so that the people in the picture had less color in their face. The models i used had washed out clothing as well to add to the affect. However, i experimented with different lightings. i didnt complete replicate loretta's style and tried to explore my own. Loretta Lux didnt have a lot of shadows in her pictures, but i tried to play with them in mine. I think i can make a stronger portfolio by washing out the pictures better and having a better background to exemplify the creepiness of the pictures.
